Entries open on Tuesday 4th August and close at midnight on Tuesday 29th September

The award entry process is fully online and you are able to start your entry, save it and amend it at any time before the closing date.

It’s important to know that YOU DO NOT have to receive a nomination from someone else in order to enter. In fact, we encourage you to enter without one! Why wait for someone else to acknowledge you when you already know what you’ve done and what you’re capable of? We want to help you get the recognition you deserve.

Entries are judged by the AWIWA Board and invited industry leaders and previous winners.

Finalists in each category will be announced on Tuesday 20th October. So, if you’re a finalist you’ll have a whole month to bask in the glory before the winners announcement on Tuesday 24th November. The awards ceremony will be live streamed this year. We invented the online wine awards back in 2015 – so we’re going back to where it all started!

The winners of each award category will be announced in a LIVE STREAMED awards presentation on the evening of Tuesday 24th November. We’ll be once again encouraging people in cities, towns and wine regions everywhere to host their very own AWIWA celebration that night to tune in and cheer on the winners! The great thing about this is that we invented the online wine awards. It’s how we got started in 2015, and we did it again in 2016. In fact, even after we started traditional awards nights in 2017 we kept live streaming it! So we’re going back to what we know best. And it’s gonna be FABULOUS.
